Actress Bhumi Pednekar on 6th June 2020 interacted with kids through virtual classroom session for understanding their views on climate change. The actress had a fun interactive session with kids on Instagram in which they have shared their views, opinions, thought and visions for protecting mother nature.
Some kids showed their chart works and drawings and some of them talked about dumping wastes in the ocean while some said about the increase in pollution. The kids have also suggested ideas to separate dry and wet waste and urged everyone to be kind to animals and stop using plastic.
The video shows actress appreciating the kids for their keen interest in protecting Mother Earth and said, “It is very important to plant trees in order to keep the environment green. So, you should make sure that you along with your mother and all your friends make it a community exercise. You guys are the future of this country.”
The actress further added, “The theme this year pretty much everywhere is to co-exist with nature and the various species that we share our planet with. These are animals, underwater life, plants, bacteria, and viruses. Our planet is equally their home as it is ours.” Bhumi also advocated nature conservation through her initiative Climate Warriors.
She had taken steps to bring Bollywood together for spreading awareness about Mother Nature through her campaign. The campaign has been taken up by many actors including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma among others explaining “one wish they have for the earth”.
