Amitabh Bachchan has been discharged from Nanavati Hospital after negative testing for COVID 19. The actor will be home quarantined for now. Abhishek Bachchan is still in hospital after being tested positive for COVID 19 on July 11.
“I have tested CoVid- (covid negative) and have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine,” Amitabh Bachchan tweeted. Abhishek had also written that his father has been discharged and will now be resting at home. He wrote in another tweet: “I, Unfortunately due to some comorbidities remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted.”
Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan had been tested COVID 19 positive on July 11 with mild symptoms and were admitted to the hospital on the same night. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aardhya were also tested positive the next day while four other people in the family were found negative.
Aishwarya and Aaradhya were hospitalized when they had a mild fever and were discharged last week. Amitabh Bachan confirmed the coronavirus news on Twitter. He wrote, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff underwent tests, results awaited ..All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”
Amitabh kept on sharing his health updates while at the hospital and expressed gratitude for all the love and support his family had received in the last few days. Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in Sony’s Kaun Banega Crorepati and also has movies like Brahmastra, Jhund and Chehre in the pipeline.
