Kunal Kamra is a stand-up comedian based in Bombay and hosts popular political comedy show Shut Up Ya Kunal. He entered into full-time stand-up comedy in 2013 after spending 8 years in advertising. He rose at a very fast pace and is established as one of the most popular and important voices of India and is known for his incisive, fearless and polarizing material. He is famous as comedianās comedian and popular among the people and tours regularly around the country.
He is known for his observational comedy. Five Indian Airlines banned him after an incident in IndiGo airlines in 2020. Kamra was born and brought up in Mumbai and joined Jai Hind College. He became production assistant in an ad film production house where he was for eleven years after dropping out in the second year.
