Nothing ā€˜Mastā€™ About It.

MX Player has released a web series named Mastram which is inspired by a 2014 movie with the same name. Both the web series and film have the same lead heroine Tara Alisha Berry. The lead role is played by Anshuman Jha who has worked in Love Sex aur Dhokha and Mona Darling.Ā

The series has been written by Aryan Sunil. The words which have been used during sensual scenes are a major highlight of the web series. The music is composed by Ulluminati and Ashish Chhabra which perfectly blend with the dialogues and visuals. The series has been perfectly handled by Anshuman Jha who is in the role of Raja Ram.

He has handled the character softly and subtly. The series has setting of 80s era and is perfect for 80s and 90s people when there were no phones. The only source of entertainment was reading books. There are dubbing issues in many scenes but they have worked well. The series could have been cut short to eight episodes instead of ten for a crispy storyline.Ā

The series is completely free and users do not have to pay for it. There are many OTT platforms where the web series are paid but the storyline is disappointing for the audience. Mastram is a good attempt but it could have been better.
