Better Life Foundation is an NGO set up in Mumbai and run by a soft-hearted and indecisive man Neil Menon. He is supported by his colleagues Sumukhi Chawla who is a dominating woman ordering everyone in the NGO, Jerry Pinto who follows Neil blindly, Aditi Goyal an intern who says she is a volunteer, Armaan Grewal is an alcohol addict who is doing community service because of his drunk driving case and Anirban Sengupta a greedy account who runs shady business side by side.
Episode 2 of Better Life Foundation has a very funny scene where Sumukhi, Jerry and Armaan go to a government office to get their license approved. Jerry carries a camera with him if the officials ask him for a bribe. The humour comes in during the narration and the different shots taken by the pen camera. The third episode has Vango Awards which is an award ceremony of the NGO and the funniest episode of the series.
The antics of host Abish Mathew on stage gives the episode a funny touch. On the other hand, we witness Jerry and Neil filming a video for Swachh Bharat related to public urination. In the end, we see them joining the award ceremony and a hilarious scene by Jerry. Better Life Foundation Season 1 might be a little boring to watch as the antics become edgy at times.
The accountant forgetting to cash a cheque of 3 lakhs is similar to a scene in The Office which ruins the binge-watching experience a little. Better Life Foundation web series is very enjoyable overall rather than monotonous and can be viewed more than once. Better Life Foundation Season 1 features Kumar Varun, Sumukhi Suresh, Utsav Chakraborty, Kanan Gill, Naveen Richard and Sindhu Sreenivasa Murthy in key roles.
