Rubina from slums to Oscars and now memoir
The nine-year-old child actor of Slumdog Millionaire’, Rubina Ali, has seen it all from Mumbai slums to scintillating global award ceremony, Oscars. Now, she is on her way to chronicle her stupendous journey in a memoir, which is scheduled to be released in July, 2009.
The autobiography named ‘Slumdog Dreaming: My Journey to the Stars’ will portray Rubina’s real life journey from slums to stars in the sky. The autobiography is to be published by the publishers, TransWorld’, who are based in London. The chronicle will be released in United States and United Kingdom simultaneously on July 16, 2009.
In this autobiography, Rubina has described how her life got transformed; how she used to play with his friends near the sewer line of Garib Nagar; and how she then acted in the film and walked the red carpet of Oscars.
