An ecstatic award ceremony marked by flashing cameras, glittering dresses of celebrities and excitement everywhere..this is Oscars! The scintillating ceremony has begun and this all Indians are keeping their fingers crossed as ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ is in the race for various categories.

The ceremony has already begun and gradually all the names for the awards will be unveiled. This would be the first-ever Oscar award ceremony wherein Indians have been nominated for various award categories. All credit goes to the music composer A. R. Rehman and Slumdog Milionaire, who have made their grand entry into Oscars and made all Indians proud.

Till the last news reported, Slumdog Millionaire has won 7 Oscar awards including the best music score by A.R.Rehman and best direction by Danny Boyle. A.R.Rehman had been nominations under three categories; one for ‘Best Original Score’ and two nominations for ‘Best Original Song’ category for the songs ‘Jai Ho’ and ‘O..Saya.’
