De Dana Dan – Movie Review
Priyadarshan needs to stop making repeated attempt of creating a blockbuster just by repeating the star cast of Hera Pheri. Movies need script to become a success and one just needs to remind this to Priyadarshan. It’s really amazing that De Dana dan comes from the same director who has delivered classic movies like Virasaat & Hera Pheri.

Akshay Kumar & Sunil Shetty plays the role of guys who are under debt and badly needs money. Eventhough they are poor they have the most beautiful girlfriends in form of Katrina Kaif & Sameera Reddy. In order to make money and keep their GFs happy they do Hera Pheri in form of kidnapping & than start a series of events which are supposed to bring a lot of comical element in the movie. De Dana Dan is a week movie right from the beginning to end. Screenplay is a mixture of many hollywood – bollywood movies so there is nothing new to be seen in the movie. If someone manages to laugh all the way through the movie, he deserves a standing ovation.

Chemistry between Paresh Rawal & Akshay Kumar is missing in the movie. Akshay Kumar needs to have a serious rethink about his career at this point of his career. Everything was going so well for him and than he suddenly started doing a series of no-sense movies again & again. His fans have been long patient but stardom don’t stick with anyone else one reinvent himself all the time & experiment in different roles.
